Yesterdays consultation with Mr Yeo and Mrs Koh was very efficient.(those who havent went for consultation should go)
After telling Mr Yeo about my lousy attitude towards studying physics.. He really nag at me.
As expected... "Stacey ar Stacey.. Na li ke yi ze yang." "haiyo stacey ar.. " "tsk tsk.. better study" after like 20 times of such phrases.. I finally got the mood to study for physics. YEAH!! Here's some tips that he gave me:
1)
Finish revising your notes and tutorial. Making sure you
know how to do all the questions.
2) Start doing his worksheet which consist of 2000-2004 questions and
MUST finish it.
3) Do MCQ MCQ and more MCQ (try to get 80-90% correct. (
!!!) and learn from all your mistakes)
4) Look through all the class test and promos and exams papers. Make sure you
learn from your mistakes and
dont make it again.
For Maths:
I asked Mrs Koh : How can improve maths so that the grades wont be stuck at C and D. Obviously i'm asking her a rubbish question. It took her 10 secs before she reply.
1) Are you pondering over which step to take when attempting the questions not? Or unsure of the workings because you not very familiar with the formulas? You shouldnt. If you are aiming for an A. You have to have the look-at-the-question and
know which steps exactly to take.(
Oh my god!)2) You have to do
other sch prelims papers not TYS only. Sch prelims papers have fanciful hence or otherwise questions.
3) 2000 and 2001 papers are for reference because its out of syllabus.
4)
Stats from TYS are tough. So practice stats from TYS.
Thats all from yesterday's consultation. Hope its beneficial to you all. =) Study Hard.
