Poor trees
Saturday, September 12, 2009

I printed 2 reams of paper on Thursday, single sided, coloured. Important documents for submission. End up, it was not necessary to have them for submission. Damn the "print first, its better to have a copy". Oh yar! And the "single sided and 1 slide per page please, easier to read". I am so PISSED.

Seriously, I don't freaking understand why adults and adults wanna-be in the office like to print print print everything. Put them one side, forgot that they printed it and print print print again. They're always losing things in softcopy/emails/folders because they are so freaking forgetful and disorganize. And then tada! The solution of printing comes along. Seriously, printing them out doesn't make it any better. The problem is you and the solution is not the poor trees.

Then some will say. "I need the hardcopy. In case the system crashes we'll still have a copy." Seriously,
1) Systems have backup.
2) They most probably can't find the hardcopy.
3) The hardcopy is in very chui stage anyway.
4) You can't edit the hardcopy. So how? Data entry?

And hello. Don't ask me to print on your behalf. I don't want to be a murderer. Next time. They should implement this law: Grow your own tree and use it to make paper for your own printings.

And the "oHHH~ The weather is so HOT today!" I almost wanted to tell them:
Excuse me! You contributed to it. So what if you only contribute to 0.00000001% of it. You're already endorsing the act.

Print when necessary lar. Irresponsible people.
